UX Designer IIIWEX is an innovative payments and technology company leading the way in a rapidly changing environment.Our goal is to simplify the business of running a business for our customers and free them to spend more time, with less worry, on the things they love.We are on a journey to build a unified, world class user experience across our products and services and leverage customer driven innovation to power our growth and strategic initiatives.As we lean into our mission to "simplify the business of running a business", WEX is looking to simplify and reimagine experiences, starting from the customer perspective.The WEX UX team is responsible for designing customer experiences for many different types of users.We work in the health, travel, payments & fleet space.Our team collaborates across all different verticals to make sure we are creating the best experiences that can be used across different platforms.You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of design and execution, including pitching your ideas, designing products and features (workflow, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping), and partnering with research to test your ideas.You will work with development to implement the approved vision.You will do this through performing and developing the following competencies: Strategic Mindset, User-Centric, Applied Expertise, Innovation Focused, Cross-Functional Collaborator, and Results Focused.About the team:As a team, we value a variety of perspectives and experiences.We bring our best selves to work every day because we are passionate about solving problems for our users.You will bring your design expertise to both existing and new products.We iterate quickly as new ideas arise and the project's demands alter.We offer UX guidance to a wide audience and actively participate in all stages of projects.Our success is a result of successfully managing and developing cross-disciplinary connections with authors, designers, developers, and creative technologists.We contribute ideas and work well with these cross-functional teams to create concise UX proposals.What you'll do:Collaborate with Product and UX Team Lead to translate concepts into user flows, visualizations and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences with an emphasis on both customer-facing applications, both desktop and mobile form factor.Deliver wireframes and visualizations optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces with a focus device-agnostic design.Make strategic design and user-experience recommendations related to both core and new functions and features.Identify workflow and experience problems, and suggest elegant solutions.Ensure a user-centered design approach, rapid test and learn methodology.Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.How you'll engage:: Seek to understand WEX's corporate strategy, the competitive environment and market trends and how our products can create valueUnderstands and advocates for the user's needs with empathyProvides a deep understanding of methods and techniques, and best practices for the applied area of expertiseBrings a hunger for new ideas or ways of thinking in pursuit of the optimal solution and a willingness to investigateChampions for best in class outcomes while inspiring others to follow suit, creating alignment across functions: Maintains data integrity and uses iterative experiments to design solutions that deliver on business goalsExperience you'll bring: Bachelor's degree with studies relevant to digital experience creation, graduate program is a plusSolid experience as a UX Designer, or similar UX related roleExpert level with the following tools: Figma, Google SuiteWorking knowledge in Sketch, Invision, Creative CloudStrong understanding of mobile-first approach, experience designing based on personas.Passion for working collaboratively on complex workflows and applications to create intuitive interfaces.Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities, navigate ambiguity, have fun doing so with a team of peersGood communication skills including written, verbal and presentation to leadership audiences.
