Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Senior Infrastructure Linux Engineer to maintain and enhance the real-time data systems powering one of the world's leading investment banks.The ideal candidate will handle alert and incident management, problem resolution, and system improvements, ensuring uptime and performance for global trading and data services.Resolve data quality issues by conducting root cause analysis while managing internal and external vendors.Support on-call, incident management, problem, and change management processes.Ensure optimal accuracy and timeliness of data in real-time by implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Collaborate with regional and global market data infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience.Manage L2 alerts requiring technical expertise, create and/or update resolutions in knowledge bases and run books.Manage incident lifecycles from identification to resolution, minimizing business impact in production environments.Lead change management processes for production changes, including mandatory updates and software upgrades.Perform other tasks such as release management, event management, user support, and reporting.Required Skills and QualificationsWe are looking for candidates with:Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.Highly skilled in Linux system administration.Experience with Windows operating systems.Scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python.Networking and connectivity skills, such as multicast, routing, switches, and TCP/IP.Excellent communication and written English skills.Understanding of ITIL foundation and best practices.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Desirable skills include experience with ITRS Geneos, Exegy, Market Data Platforms, AWS ECS, AWS VPC, Google Cloud, GitHub/GitLab, and automation pipelines.BenefitsWe offer:A modern, dynamic work environment within a top global institution.Flexible working arrangements – fully remote or hybrid options.Continuous learning and certification opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.Long-term career prospects with international exposure.Inclusive, multicultural team with regular knowledge-sharing and team events.
