Position SummaryThe Underwriter will perform Workers' Compensation Underwriting duties and analytics for the T2Insurance Underwriting Department requiring high degree of integrity, business acumen andknowledge of organization and its business and legal policies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities IncludeThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Ability to accept, reject or modify new and renewal business for workers' compensation insuranceprograms as needed while working with senior underwriters or management, to ensure a profitablebook of business.• Price business according to company underwriting and pricing guidelines and ensures standards fortimeliness are met.• Develop on-going relationships with internal and external customers and monitor profitability andquality of submissions, and keeps up-to-date with underwriting and/or product changes.• Review and become familiar with: policy coverages, agency relationships, underwriting and teamguidelines, processes, and procedures, company business strategy and organization.• Work with the division partner risk management staff to enhance knowledge and experience in:underwriting techniques and decision making methods, problem solving methods, sales andnegotiating skills.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Computer skills required.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.• Ability to read and interpret documents.• Ability to type routine reports and correspondence.• Ability to speak effectively and respectfully with all contacts.• Ability to perform basic math and compute rate, ratio, and percentages.• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in all forms.• Ability to deal with problems involving fixed variables in standardized situations.• Ability to work under direction.• Strong work ethic required.• High level EnglishLocal de trabalho: São Paulo, SPRegime de contratação de tipo: Efetivo – CLTJornada: Período IntegralNível hierárquico: ConsultorVALORIZADOTempo de experiência: Entre 1 e 3 anos
