If you wish to know the status of your application, please use the candidate log-in on our career website as it will reflect any updates to your status.Job Description:As a Business Process Specialist at Caterpillar, you will lead key aspects of the Modern Order Management transformation initiative, leveraging your process expertise, facilitation skills, and solution knowledge to drive continuous improvement and modernization.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates with product development engineers to track and communicate design, development, support, and maintenance problems and solutions.Identifies, documents, and reports design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs.
Gathers and consolidates feedback from customers and field staff.Coordinates with field support specialists and customers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage.Answers customer and field support questions; provides guidance for product integration and infrastructure issues.Support program management activities across the program that include communications, business unit engagement, roadmap maintenance, business process development and project reviews.Ensure alignment with overall program direction while advancing capability developmentIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement in solution deliveryDefine business processes and document business requirements to be shared with our Caterpillar partners for solution development and executionLead global cross functional project teams to improve order management processes and systems that can span multiple organizations.Conduct change management activities, including training, documentation and roles & responsibility definitionLeverage technology to enable process efficiency, data analysis and process capabilityWork with peers on process integration opportunities; including Caterpillar Dealer and Supply Chain processesSupport other Modern Order Management execution teams, including training and global update meetings.Leverage Lean thinking & methodologiesUtilize multiple mediums of communication including email, presentations, meetings, instant messaging, Caterpillar social media, etc. to reach business partners.SkillsBusiness Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Agile Executor: Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects of different sizes.QualificationsBasic requirements:Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain or MarketingExperience working with SAP Ordering- Progressive experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with expertise in order management, dealer operations, business process design and leadership, and project management.Pre-Advanced EnglishTop candidates will also have:SAP template experienceWorking knowledge of ordering systems (preferably related to Caterpillar machine prime product, but can include engines, parts or work tools ordering systems)General understanding of the Caterpillar organization, products, policies, and proceduresStrong understanding of Caterpillar's order management process and dealer organizationsExperience across multiple functional areasExperience with lean principles and practicesAbility to adapt to multiple cultures and countriesAdditional language capabilityAdditional InformationThis role may travel up to 25% of the time.Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week.Some of the offered benefits:Medical planDental planMedicines reimbursementPsychological, Legal, Social and Finance Support ProgramPrivate pension planProfit shareMeal assistanceChristmas basketTransportationLife and personal insuranceExtended maternity and paternity leaveEmployee resources group (Young Professional, Women in Networking, LAMBDA (LGBTQIA+), Latin Group and Active in Sport)Caterpillar reserves the right to change or modify benefits at any time, subject prior notice and in compliance with legal requirements.
