ImproveEngineering Design: You will be the sole Mechanical Engineer on a custom designed turbo expander package.Review and interpret customer specifications to create manufacturing drawings, material lists and other documentation for the customer.You will design machine skids, reservoirs and specify coolers, heaters, pumps, motors, filters, and valves.Technical Discussions: You will lead technical discussions with the customer and suppliers to find solutions to the project's requirements.Continuous Improvement: You will create ways to improve engineering process by reducing design cycle time and/or reduce errors while keeping manufacturability in mind.To succeed, you will needWhat You Already KnowA Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.In-depth understanding of fluid control systems, particularly in lube oil and seal gas applications.Familiarity with API, ASME, and ANSI standards as they relate to engineering practices.Proficient in Microsoft Office to facilitate documentation, and have strong skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design tasks.A commitment to maintaining thorough documentation of your design processes and selections.General knowledge of shop fabrication practices including machining, welding, and assembly operations.Physical RequirementsComfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, squatting, and lifting or carrying objects up to 15 lbs.Willingness to travel
