Leap29 is a leading international Independent Power Producer entering Brazil's renewable energy market.We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Opportunities Developer to drive growth in Power-to-X (PtX) and green hydrogen projects, working remotely but requiring a strong understanding of the Brazilian market.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough research to identify PtX and green hydrogen opportunities in Brazil, analyzing market trends, regulatory frameworks, and economic factors.Evaluate potential projects, sites, and partners during the initial screening process.Support early-stage project risk assessment and feasibility analysis, collaborating with internal teams to assess alignment with company goals.Develop preliminary financial forecasts and investment models to guide strategic decisions, leveraging expertise in business development for renewable energy projects.Cultivate relationships with local stakeholders in Brazil, gathering market intelligence and insights to inform business strategy.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in business development for renewable energy, PtX, or green hydrogen projects.Detailed knowledge of the Brazilian renewable energy market, including regulatory environments and industry trends.Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate opportunities and conduct early-stage project analysis.A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities, able to work independently in a remote setting.Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is an asset.Benefits:We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.This role requires a strong understanding of the Brazilian market and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
