Prod Ctrl Manager

The Prod Ctrl Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team.
The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide operational direction to Finance team
- Assist with contributing to the development of new techniques, models and plans
- Resolve varied and substantial issues that potentially impact the business
- Perform detailed analysis on issues and recommended solutions, as appropriate
- Analyze information utilizing in-depth knowledge of industry practices and procedures
- Escalate anomalies and issues efficiently and on time
- Supervise, motivate, and develop the team, ensuring the quality of deliverables meets or exceeds expectations
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Ability to manage teams.
**Qualifications**:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Esta posição vai compor a equipe regional de Finance Transformation e será baseada no Brasil.
Essa pessoa será responsável por trabalhar na análise de diferenças identificadas nos relatórios de qualidade de dados produzidos pelas ferramentas globais, regionais e locais, trabalhando em conjunto com outros membros da equipe do projeto nessa função.
Esse profissional interagirá com as equipes de Finanças e, além disso, interagirá com as áreas de tecnologia e operações baseadas no país, na região ou em outros países.
Será responsável por executar análises e avaliações complexas das funções de negócios a partir das soluções sistêmicas da arquitetura de sistemas de Finanças.
É necessário que essa pessoa seja uma profundo conhecedor de contabilidade e ser capaz de identificar discrepâncias contábeis para o GAAP local e US, bem como elementos de dados críticos para vários estágios dos registros de dados sobre transações relacionadas ao negócio de banco de investimento.
O profissional deve ser capaz de produzir requisitos para direcionar claramente os problemas para a fonte do erro, eliminando problemas no STP dos sistemas de processadores de produtos até os sistemas de financiamento a jusante.
Essa pessoa também deve ser capaz de definir/validar/aprovar planos de teste.
This position will compose the Regional Finance Transformation team and will be based in Brasil.
This person will be responsible to work on the analysis of differences identified in the Data Quality reports produced by global, regional and local tools, working together with other members of the Project team in this role.
This professional will interact with Finance teams, and in addition to that will interact with IT and Operations based locally, regionally and globally.
Responsible to perform complex analysis and evaluation of the business functions pertaining to the Finance architecture.
This person is required to be an accounting SME capable to identify accounting discrepancies for both Local and US GAAP, as well as critical data elements for multiple stages of data records about transactions related to the investment banking business.
The professional should be capable to produce requirements to clearly direct the issues to the source of the error, eliminating issues in the STP from product processors systems all the way to the downstream Finance systems.
This person should also be capable to define/validate/approve test plans.
