Plant Manager- Wärtsilä Energy leads the transition towards a 100% renewable energy future.We help our partners to accelerate their decarbonisation journeys through our market-leading technologies and power system modelling expertise.These cover decarbonisation services, future-fuel enabled balancing power plants, hybrid solutions, energy storage and optimisation technology, including the GEMS Digital Energy Platform.- Did you know Wärtsilä has delivered 79 GW of power plant capacity and more 125 energy storage installations in 180 countries around the world?- In this fast changing world of energy, we are constantly on the lookout for future-oriented talent to join our team and to work towards enabling sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services - together.Want to join the ride?- We are seeking for a **Plant Manager** a highly capable and enthusiastic individual who can lead, manage operation and maintenance activities.This person will be responsible for meeting business targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction in all delivery activities.Close collaboration with other stakeholders and colleagues is necessary to achieve the goals and actions for operational excellence as a team.In this position, you will report to the Agreement Manager in Wärtsilä, and location is in **Cabo de Santo Agostinho/PE, Brazil.****Main Responsibilities**:- Plan, lead and manage operation and maintenance activities at the plant and assigned team.- Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract.- Ensure competent resources and competence development within assigned team.- Ensure that the condition of the plant and equipment are according to applicable guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when needed.- Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to Wärtsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.- Implement Contract Management action plans, processes and guidelines in the assigned responsibility area.- Prepare reports, plans and budgets as instructed by the Agreement Manager.- Identify and actively seek to improve operational and maintenance reliability and availability of the plant.- Develop the operation and maintenance working routines at the plant.- Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.- Ensure skilled and motivated agreement management personnel to assure good teamwork.- Continuously develop understanding how to create value for customer and customers business**Requirements**:- Completed technical course in Mechanics or Electrical- Bachelor's degree in administration, engineering or related areas- Extensive experience in HFO/LFO plant- Experience in gas power plants will be a plus- Experience in people management- Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)**Skills**:- Achieving results- Making change happen- Decisiveness and action orientation- Planning and target setting- Developing self and others- Communication- Situational and cultural sensitivity- Business and Customer focus- At Wärtsilä we value, respect and embrace all our differences, and are committed to diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunities; everyone can be their true self and succeed based on their job-relevant merits and abilities.
