ResponsibilitiesLaunch, review, and assess new hire background check results, escalating issues as appropriateOversee the I-9 process to ensure compliance with USCIS standards and audit readinessEnsure hiring practices comply with applicable laws and internal policies, implementing improvements as neededMaintain a centralized library of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and accessibleSupport internal investigations related to HR compliance matters, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience in HR compliance, talent acquisition, risk, or a related HR functionIn-depth knowledge and experience of background check processesStrong critical thinking, attention to detail, and decision-making skillsExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred QualificationsStrong knowledge of employment laws and hiring regulations (e.g., FCRA, EEOC, USCIS)Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
