We are looking for a responsible and enthusiastic Strategy and Project Manager with experience in leading projects.
In this position you will report to the VP Brazil International Markets (MGB), and you will be a part of the management team.
**About Statkraft in Brazil**
In Brazil, we are 284 professionals that support our operations and enable business to grow with high commitment, responsibility, and innovation.
In the country, the group controls 18 wind and hydroelectric power generation assets, with about 450 MW of installed capacity and 519 MW under construction.
The company aims also to become one of the main players in Trading and Origination.
Statkraft Brazil is becoming a large player within commercial business and building and managing renewable assets.
Markets team is located in Rio de Janeiro.
Our goal is to prioritize long-term relationships with customers, seeking customized solutions to their energy needs, and facilitating renewable energy and project financing.
We are continuously looking to expand to new products and seeking to grow our business.
**The role**
The person in this role will be a key supporting resource to the Commercial Vice President when it comes to strategy development, developing the organization and driving change, as well as being proactive when it comes to new initiatives and collaboration across the Statkraft Group in Brazil and internationally.
If you are able to work in a structured way and can take a leading role in strategy development processes, you will be a key resource in implementation when it comes to further growth of the Route to Market and commercial planning activities in Brazil.
Some of the main activities of this position are:
- Represent BA M in local M&A's and Greenfield Projects;
- Lead projects and work on cross-functional project teams with a variety of skills and experience, which will include to be a coach for other employees managing or participating in Projects;
- Be a key person to facilitate and share energy management knowledge, processes, methods and tools across the organizational boundaries;
- Work in synergy/collaboration with other departments in Brazil and abroad, which will give you the opportunity to improve your network in cooperation with other parts of the company, and in particular with the Statkraft Brazil country organization and other parts of the M and IP organizations.
***Your **competence **profile**
We are looking for a project manager with the essential skills to prepare our renewable energy business and solutions for the future.
This includes the following background:
- Graduate degree in engineering, economics or similar
- Post-graduation or master's degree in related areas
- At least 7 years of professional work experience in energy markets, with focus on energy management and / or other commercial activities
- Experience in project management with the ability to independently drive complex issues in a structured way
- Experience from developing and supporting execution of business strategies
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Portuguese is a plus.
