Key job responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with air carrier partners.
Track and analyze carrier performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, capacity utilization, and shipment quality.
Identify areas for improvement and work with carriers to develop action plans to address issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast and plan capacity requirements based on volume projections, peak seasons, and business needs.
Ensure adequate capacity is available to meet service level agreements.
Continuously evaluate carrier performance, network routes, and service levels to identify optimization opportunities.
Recommend and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Identify and mitigate risks related to carrier operations, such as service disruptions, capacity constraints, regulatory changes, or safety issues.
Develop contingency plans and work closely with carriers to minimize potential impacts.
Experience required: Driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
Process improvements experience.
Stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels.
Building processes, project management, and scheduling.
Experience with SQL.
