We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to play a critical role in planning, executing, and delivering technical projects within Technology Services organization here at Braze.
You will play a critical role in planning, executing, and delivering complex technical projects within our organization at Braze, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring successful outcomes while adhering to timelines.
This unique opportunity requires a strong background in leading technology projects and adapting or building new processes, navigating ambiguity to ensure successful delivery and timely communication.
You'll be joining a collaborative and productive environment, reporting to the Director of Operations in Braze's Technology Services organization and fostering uniformity in project management and operations across the organization.

Responsibilities: Strategic Initiative Ownership: Take direct ownership and lead key strategic initiatives
Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a pipeline for TS requests and initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans.
Coordinate project activities, allocate resources, and manage project risks.
Ensure timely execution of project tasks
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and results.
Address stakeholder concerns and maintain positive relationships
Budget and Timeline Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
Enforce project deadlines and ensure adherence to schedules.
Mitigate risks that may impact project timelines
Team Leadership: Guide project team members, fostering collaboration and productivity.
Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance as needed.
Strive to unblock project deliverables by pulling in team resources, escalating to stakeholders when necessary, and holding stakeholders accountable.
Promote a positive work environment
Quality Focus: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
Implement best practices for project documentation WHO ARE YOU Proven experience managing complex technical projects, preferably in areas such as company-level migrations, compliance, data governance, or broad IT/Security initiatives
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven ability to translate technical details to non-technical audiences and vice-versa
Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Gantt Charts, Spreadsheets) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc)
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with vendor, risk and compliance management is highly desirable #LI-Hybrid
