Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team.The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis, strategic planning, and project management.The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.They will investigate and understand business needs, process frameworks, and supporting technologies.The analyst will assist stakeholders in defining project scope and work with IT resources to define functional approaches.They will identify and document business risks, impacts, and mitigation options based on requirements.Effectively define and present project requirements and process flows via various formats.Responsibilities:Provide strategic planning for various project requests.Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.Investigate and understand business needs, process frameworks, and supporting technologies.Assist stakeholders in defining project scope.Work with IT resources to define functional approaches.Identify and document business risks, impacts, and mitigation options based on requirements.Secure business and functional requirements approval from business and technical stakeholders.Write test cases and coordinate with development/QA teams to ensure business requirements are met.Coordinate with project managers to meet BA deliverable expectations and schedules.Provide team members, stakeholders, and project managers with concise and accurate status updates regarding progress and action items.Schedule, participate in, and lead discovery meetings.Capture detailed notes/meeting minutes from discovery and review calls.Manage multiple assignments simultaneously.RequirementsMinimum 0 – 2 years of business analysis experience.Bachelor's degree in MIS/CS, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.Strong analytical skills, displaying ability to quickly understand new information and problem solve.Ability to productively work both independently on assigned tasks and collaborate with a team on larger efforts.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office tools – such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.Familiarity with project management methodologies – including Agile and Waterfall – and tools – such as MS Project, Jira, ADO, etc.Exposure to IT spaces related to order management systems, data processing tools, or infrastructure services.
