About this opportunityThe Sr.
Manager, Sales Operations will guide the Align process and projects for critical parts of the business to ensure efficiency across the organization and drive the optimization of systems and processes.
The focus for this role will be enhancing complex processes that span operational teams for the Americas.You have the passion to constantly look for improvements through process, systems, or infrastructure changes.
You will identify and lead the need for change.
You will lead the optimization of sales efforts with the Americas Special Markets strategic sales teams by supporting all new sales programs, contract strategies, and the development of sales tools.You must enjoy working cross-functionally and building effective, strong relationships with all assigned business partners (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Training, and Business Intelligence/IT teams).
Ability to influence without authority is critical for this role.
You will be the key person for understanding unmet needs of customers in terms of processes, policies, tools, infrastructure, and other activities, and building a plan of action to execute with counterparts and internal stakeholders.In this role, you will:Understand unmet needs of different sales groups regarding processes, policies, tools, infrastructure, and other activities, and develop an action plan to address them.Work to automate processes for account setup of new Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), conversion of existing doctors, and facilitate onboarding and off-boarding of doctors within a DSO.Manage key communication between internal stakeholders, Business Development Managers (BDMs), and key customer contacts, ensuring awareness of significant changes to program status, specifications, and timelines regarding Special Markets Program execution.Create an updated engagement model to staff and plan for the implementation of process changes.Communicate resource needs across all groups and recommend plans to fill resource and skill gaps.Develop long-term relationships with key business executives and stakeholders to ensure best practices are demonstrated.Along with the Director of Sales Operations, develop plans for sales representative deployment and activities to ensure effectiveness.Ensure current tools and processes support automation, remove roadblocks, and drive efficiencies, while continuously investigating alternative solutions.Lead cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing business operations and sales effectiveness.Perform all other duties as assigned.In this role, you'll need:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (Master's Degree preferred).
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.Approximately 10 years of experience in Sales Operations or Process Improvement.Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify relevant material and analyze it creatively to infer effects on customer adoption and implementation.Ability to deal with ambiguity, create scenarios of outcomes, and make recommendations based on limited information.Experience managing teams responsible for creating and maintaining contracts for large group practices (similar to GPO).
Experience with contracting strategy, development, and execution, with a strong focus on contract compliance and maintenance.Medical device experience is preferred.Sound like a good fit?
