Job Description
- Develop algorithms and workflows designed to solve specific problems related to seismic imaging and inversion.
- Prepare and present scientific publications at international conferences and workshops.
- Support production teams with existing and new technologies.
- Keep up to date by reading technical publications and attending conferences/workshops/seminars.
- Promote new technologies by interacting with clients.
Qualifications
- MSc/PhD in Geophysics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related technical field.
- Comfortable with mathematical and abstract concepts.
- Capable of solving complex problems with great analytical skills.
- Excellent coding skills in one or more programming languages (such as C/C++, FORTRAN and Python).
- Knowledge of CUDA and HPC (MPI, multi-thread, GPU, etc.) would be a plus.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Innovative mindset and eager to learn.
Self-driven and independent.
- Experience with geophysical problems, wave propagation, inversion and signal processing would be a plus.
