Electrical Field Service Technician - Jenbacher EnginesJoin to apply for the Electrical Field Service Technician - Jenbacher Engines role at INNIO Group.The INNIO Advantage: By combining a rich legacy in the power and gas compression space with pioneering technology, INNIO brings our customers affordable, reliable and sustainable energy solutions for today and tomorrow.We are helping to meet today's energy needs with 64 GW of installed capacity of our powerful Jenbacher and Waukesha engines, which can be found in more than 100 countries.By harnessing our history of energy industry firsts along with the power of digital innovation, we will continue to deliver for the future.Please note that the location for this position is Porto Alegre.RoleThis Electrical Field Service Technician will perform electrical (and mechanical) hands-on field service work on Jenbacher Gas Engines, including but not limited to commissioning, troubleshooting, periodic maintenance, and minor overhaul.Jenbacher Gas Engines range in power from 0.25 to 9.5 MW and run on natural gas or a variety of other gases (e.g., biogas, landfill gas, coal mine gas, sewage gas, combustible industrial waste gases).Essential ResponsibilitiesExecute service in compliance with the maintenance protocol of each type of engine (e.g., check/replace oil level and filters, spark plugs, valve clearance), and perform relevant measurements.Carry out minor repairs on the engine in addition to the planned service, if necessary.Perform troubleshooting activities to understand mechanical and/or electronic failures on the engine and its associated control systems – diagnosis.Check and analyze the engine's historical data.Manage customer expectations and report on the progress of the activities.Provide a service report after each service performed in a timely manner, describing the reason for the visit, actions performed, results obtained, use of parts/materials and, if needed, recommending follow-up actions.Take part in the execution of major service on the engine ensuring compliance with the manufacturer's manuals and procedures.Manage and work with third party suppliers.Process timesheets, expense reports, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) forms.Comply with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work site.Keep a clean work environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications/RequirementsDeep electrical knowledge is required; good mechanical knowledge is a plus (minimum 5+ years of experience as electrician.
