We are looking for a seasoned financial leader to join our team as a Controller.This is a hands-on position where you will manage the financial systems, processes, and reporting that support our growth.You will work closely with the leadership team to manage budgets, streamline processes, and provide insights that improve profitability.Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledgerPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManage cash flow, forecasts, and budgets to support company growthEnsure compliance with tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirementsImplement and improve accounting systems, policies, and proceduresPartner with operations leadership to track restaurant performance and profitabilityProvide detailed financial analysis and reporting to guide business decisionsOur ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and finance, with at least 5–7 years of professional experience in a similar role.They have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and are registered with the CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade) in Brazil.They possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.They are also proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling and reporting, and have a strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.A U.S. CPA license or progress toward CPA certification is preferred, as well as experience working with U.S.-based companies or international operations.This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a growing restaurant group.As the company expands, the Controller will play a key role in building out the finance function.
