Job DetailsJob DetailsOur company, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled Permanent Supply Chain Manager to join our team.
This role is integral to the smooth operation and success of our business, as it involves overseeing all aspects of our supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to logistics and distribution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations, while also ensuring compliance with food safety standards and PennDOT regulations.
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.ResponsibilitiesAs our Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible forManaging and overseeing all aspects of our supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and distribution.Developing and implementing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.Ensuring compliance with food safety standards, HACCP principles, and PennDOT regulations.Collaborating with other departments to integrate supply chain functions with business processes.Identifying and managing risk within the supply chain.Managing relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.Overseeing the management and maintenance of our freezer storage facilities.Implementing new technologies and staying up-to-date with the latest supply chain trends and practices.Preparing and presenting reports on supply chain performance and initiatives to senior management.QualificationsTo be considered for the role of Supply Chain Manager, you must haveA minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role in the manufacturing industry.Proven experience with food safety standards and HACCP principles.Experience with PennDOT regulations and compliance.Knowledge and experience in managing freezer storage facilities.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in using supply chain management software and other related technologies.A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
