Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled senior-level Linux engineer to oversee and improve the real-time data systems that power a leading investment bank's global trading and data services.As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing alerts and incidents, resolving complex issues, and implementing system enhancements to ensure uptime and performance across multiple regions.Key Responsibilities:Root Cause Analysis: Identify and resolve data quality issues by collaborating with internal and external vendors.On-Call Support: Provide incident management, problem resolution, and change management services to ensure seamless operation of critical systems.Monitoring and Alert Management: Implement monitoring tools to detect data issues and manage L2 alerts, creating resolutions and updating knowledge bases as needed.Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with regional and global market data infrastructure teams to share best practices and enhance team capabilities.Incident Management: Manage incident lifecycles from identification to resolution, minimizing business impact in production environments.Change Management: Oversee production changes, including mandatory updates and software upgrades, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption.Other Key Responsibilities: Release Management, Event Management, User Support, and Reporting.
