ServiceNow DeveloperThis is a fully remote position and an ongoing contract.The ServiceNow Developer designs, develops and implements custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform to automate business processes.Key responsibilities include creating and configuring modules like ITSM, writing code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), integrating with other systems, and troubleshooting technical problems.Developers work with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure platform stability across different environments.Core Responsibilities:Development and Configuration: Build and configure custom applications, forms, workflows and scripts within the ServiceNow platform using features like Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.Requirements and Design: Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Integration: Develop and maintain integrations with other IT systems and third-party tools using technologies like SOAP and REST web services.Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot issues, and manage platform upgrades and patches.Testing and Quality Assurance: Create test cases and perform quality checks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of new applications.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with experience in ServiceNow scripting.Hands-on experience with various ServiceNow modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), or Configuration Management Database (CMDB).Experience with Agile development methodologies like Scrum.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.A bachelor's degree in a related field.ServiceNow Professional System Administrator certification or higher.
