Murex System ConsultantKey responsibilities include implementing and configuring Murex systems for various applications such as datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS and MDCS.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, document and verify them.Analyse Murex implementation experiences and make recommendations.
Follow client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.Support IT audits and technology risk assessments.
Develop and test database and infrastructure changes.
Perform technical reviews of production changes.Write clear documentation of issues and resolution within confluence.
Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end of day batches.Deal directly with business users across the bank to analyse and diagnose business critical issues.
Resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting.Communicate with vendors to coordinate testing fixes or solutions.
Act as an intermediary between business and vendor.Debug and enhance bespoke java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
Requires a minimum 2 years experience with Murex in a support capacity.
Strong technical capability and solid understanding of datamart is required.
