Joining Finance Operations Team you will find yourself working with people who are exceptionally talented, determined, and committed to drive financial and process improvement.
This position will support the operations as a Finance, monitoring manufacturing performance end-to-end and improvements to such processes.
Also, collaborate with the global team along with day-to-day operations such as problem-solving to manufacturing Locomotives.
Lead site level closing activities, drive transparency and predictability, and provide strong variance analysis.
Support on Budget and rolling Forecast
Explain variances on volume, mix, based cost, variable cost, project savings and connect to the manufacturing performance to end customer metrics.
Perform analytics for labor and overhead rates and productivity for manufacturing and service.
Define, align and execute most effective finance and operation processes regarding closing activities.
Lead communications between finance and operation of estimates, actuals, risks and opportunities and planning.
Measure working capital and drive projects to improve assets turnover.
Understand and drive appropriate trade-offs between cash and operations.
Knowledge in different costing methods (standard, average, full cost vs variable cost).
Lead communications to HQ to the main manufacturing variances.
**Skills**:
3+ years of experience in Finance Operation or FP&A
Strong analytical skills, navigating ambiguity through structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving
Advanced level knowledge in Microsoft Excel
Desirable Microsoft Power BI experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills - including the ability to speak to different teams such as product, engineering, and sales internally and externally
