Hatch is seeking an impact-driven Climate Change Regional Lead to advance decarbonization solutions and climate resilience across South America.

Our experience spans over 150 countries around the world in the metals, energy, infrastructure, digital, and investments market sectors.In This Role You WillLead Hatch's climate change consulting and engineering services in South America, including but not limited to Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and PeruDrive regional growth, team development, and financial performanceLead business development activities across South AmericaBuild and maintain client relationships across metals, energy, and infrastructure sectors in decarbonization and resilienceCollaborate with regional business unit and business practice teams on external and internal climate change activitiesLead engagements related to climate-related disclosures, decarbonization planning, climate policy, carbon markets, low-carbon products, and climate riskManage engineering studies related to carbon and energy management, electrification, biochar and biocarbon, hydrogen, carbon capture, carbon dioxide removal, and adaptationSeek out opportunities to communicate Hatch's differentiated service offerings and represent Hatch in conferences and other client-facing opportunitiesWhat You BringMinimum 15 years of experience in project management, technical business development, and/or engineering leadershipAt least 3 years of technical experience in climate change mitigation, decarbonization, and/or adaptationGraduate degree in Chemical or Mechanical EngineeringProven experience in the metals, energy, and infrastructure sectorsDemonstrated expertise in climate-related disclosures, decarbonization planning, climate policy, carbon markets, low-carbon product development, and climate risk assessmentStrong understanding of regional climate policy and market drivers within relevant industry contextsSpecialized knowledge in one or more of the following areas is considered an asset:Carbon and energy managementProcess and heating electrificationBiochar and biocarbon production and useHydrogen production and integrationCarbon capture, utilization, and storageCarbon dioxide removalClimate adaptationExperience leading capital project studies in senior technical or management rolesProven ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively with integrated global teamsStrong client relationship management and business development capabilitiesThe ideal candidate is a business leader and team builder with a well-established professional networkProfessional fluency in EnglishProfessional fluency in Spanish and/or PortugueseWhy join us?
