The company works with 26 of the Top 30 Hotel Chains, 25 of the Top 30 Online Travel Agents, 4 of the Top 5 Airlines, and all the top car rentals, including 16 Global Fortune 500 companies.Exploring the roleRateGain seeks an experienced Director focused on European markets to further scale this essential unit of our business.
The ideal candidate will understand how LatAm hotel chains function and operate, and will be familiar with the technology solutions adopted by these chains to achieve their commercial objectives.
The role requires a trusted advisor able to assist chains to navigate the complexities of the travel technology ecosystem and guide them to the right decisions in distribution, business intelligence, marketing technologies, and beyond.
This is an individual contributor role; the candidate is expected to be a self-starter and self-driven, ready to innovate to create value for hotel chain clients while aligning with company goals.
This position can be based anywhere in LatAm and involves travel within LatAm without limitations.How your day will look like / Job responsibilitiesBuild and manage strategic alliances with regional and local partners (e.g. RMS, PMS, booking engines, OTAs)Define and execute a partnership roadmap aligned with RateGain's GTM strategy in LATAMIdentify co-marketing, co-selling, and integration opportunities with key players in the hospitality and travel ecosystemCollaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal) to structure and execute partnership agreementsRepresent RateGain in industry events and partnership meetings to promote our brand and solutionsMonitor partner performance, engagement, and contribution to pipeline and revenueProvide regular reporting and insights on partnership outcomes and market trendsEducation & Work ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field5+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnershipsKnowledgeIn-depth understanding of the LATAM hospitality and travel technology ecosystemKnowledge of SaaS business models and partnership structuresAwareness of regional trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape in the travel and hospitality sectorsSkillsStrong negotiation and deal-closing capabilitiesExcellent relationship management skills with ability to engage partners at all levelsAdvanced verbal and written communication skills in Spanish, Portuguese, and EnglishAbility to identify, pitch, and convert strategic partnership opportunitiesProficiency in using CRM and sales enablement toolsCross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product, etc.)Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong drive to exceed targetsEntrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and innovationCulturally sensitive and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in a global, remote teamHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and ownershipResilient and adaptable in a fast-paced and evolving environmentEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace.
