Humana's Medicare and Medicaid lines of business.This business unit, Humana's largest, comprises the majority of the company's total revenue and earnings.Team members partner with the senior leaders of the business unit, and more broadly with leaders throughout the enterprise, as they deliver strategy projects addressing some of the businesses most important opportunities and challenges.These high-profile strategy projects place the team at the forefront of helping to define the future of Humana's largest businesses.Humana is seeking a team member with significant strategy consulting experience to manage and deliver end-to-end strategy projects and analysis prioritized by business unit leadership.The role will be responsible for leading a robust portfolio of deliverables and analysis for Humana's Board of Directors and executive management team, including multi-year line of business strategies and annual strategic planning for the business unit.You will lead team members during projects as you deconstruct issues and challenges, perform targeted research and analysis, and craft sound, logical solutions and recommendations.You will also shape implementation considerations, and work with business owners as appropriate to transition analysis into execution.While doing so, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow team members, subject matter experts, members of Humana's executive Management Team, and corporate, functional, and business unit leaders.While deep diving into key areas, you will also have a bird's-eye view of the business unit's overall strategy.Your role be instrumental in synthesizing the strategic choices being made across the business unit into coherent plans to drive growth and profitability, while simultaneously improving the lives and health of Humana's members.As such, the ability to facilitate senior level meetings, drive diverse groups to consensus, and lead through influence will be essential to success in this role.Recent example team projects include development of a 5-year growth strategy for the business unit, evolving key dimensions of the Medicare Advantage growth strategy, developing a refreshed membership acquisition strategy, assessing the performance of strategic initiatives and business areas, and identifying improvement opportunities for a key business function.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading high quality, high impact deliverables for Humana's Board of Directors and executive management team, including multi-year line of business strategies, the business unit's annual strategic plan, and executive strategy presentationsLeading critical processes to prepare leadership for interactions with Humana's executive Management Team and Board of DirectorsIndependently managing and delivering high-profile, high-impact strategy projects end-to-end, from developing an approach to delivering recommendations and final deliverablesOverseeing and delivering high quality analysis and deliverables that clearly frame objectives, issues/challenges, and articulate compelling, insightful findings, conclusions, and recommendationsOverseeing development of hypothesis to be validated or refined through targeted research and analysisConducting interviews, working sessions, and report-outs with leaders across the companyOverseeing industry, market, competitor, and financial analysisWorking collaboratively with fellow team members and leaders across the companyEffectively leading and developing junior members of the team, including multiple direct reportsBeing a steward of the strategy team's operating model, norms and ways of workingUse your skills to make an impactRole EssentialsBachelors degree5-7+ years of full-time work experience at a top tier strategy consulting firm, and/or strategy consulting related experience outside of a consulting firm (e.g., healthcare organization)Demonstrated ability to independently manage and deliver strategy consulting engagements end-to-endExperience leading strategic planning, and/or experience leading enterprise, business unit, and/or line of business strategiesExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesHighly collaborative, flexible, team oriented working styleStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform complex qualitative and quantitative analysisDemonstrated ability to lead teams both directly and indirectly, and to mentor and develop junior staffAbility to quickly build and maintain trust with business leadersDemonstrated ability working within a matrixed environment Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$168,000 - $231,000 per year.This job
