- Responsible for the support, maintenance and project roll out of finance systems (Oracle EBS R12)
- Responsible for the development and customization of finance systems, testing and troubleshooting of system and data issues
- Responsible for the maintenance of technical level documentation
- Document changes and create troubleshooting guides
- Work with functional teams to clarify business requirements, map them to systems capabilities, and recommend technical solutions.
Convert business requirements to technical solution
- Provide cover for other team members to share the workload
- Take on projects from time to time.
Working with other teams in Finance, IT and DBA, keeping the appropriate teams regularly informed of progress and developments
- Propose solutions (or improvements) for future and current requirements using any of the existing or new tools.
**Job Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of working experience in technical development work with Oracle EBS financial modules (GL, AP, AR and FA).
- Expertise in Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, JavaScript, Workflow, Discoverer, OAF, ADF and XML Publisher.
- Expertise in creating interfaces through standard APIs, interface tables and data file transmission.
- Expertise in bug fixing and performance tuning.
- Knowledge on shell scripting is a plus.
- Ability to analyze change requests to determine feasibility in relation to existing business requirements, processes, & data models.
- Ability to grasp finance and technical concepts quickly, develop expertise while on-the-job training.
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to grasp complex concepts and ability to communicate internally with all stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Team player and able to work and learn independently when necessary.
