Frontend Engineer OpportunityThe team is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our remote workforce in Brazil.
As a key member of our global online community and discussion platform, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting all features of the platform's frontend.This is a 6-9 month temporary contract opportunity for professionals based in Brazil who are fluent in English.
You will contribute to the frontend of one of the largest global online communities and discussion platforms, used daily by millions of people worldwide.As a Frontend Developer, your responsibilities will include:Developing, maintaining, and supporting all features of the platform's frontendPerforming code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peersCollaborating with the team on future features and visual design possibilitiesManaging assigned tasks in Jira, ensuring clear communication on progress, questions, and risksContributing to technical discussions and sharing best practices with a global, remote teamWe are looking for a candidate with:4+ years of software engineering experience, primarily focused on building user-facing web applications at scale using TypeScriptSolid knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basicsBackend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and ability to design maintainable APIs is a strong plusStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on timeSelf-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environmentsExcellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) to effectively collaborate with remote teams and convey complex technical topicsPlease note that this is a temporary contract opportunity, and the selected candidate will work remotely from Brazil.
