Position Description Job Description Title : Sr Quality Assurance Analyst At ADP we are driven by your success.We engage your unique talents and perspectives.We welcome your ideas on how to do things differently and better.In your efforts to achieve, learn and grow, we support you all the way.If success motivates you, you belong at ADP.Technology at ADP.It's the foundation of the products and services that have made us a world-wide leader in workforce solutions.With us, you can combine technical skills and business acumen, to effectively consult as well as solve technical challenges.You have the opportunity to train on leading-edge technologies that continually redefine what's possible in our industry.Inspiring Innovation is a core value at ADP and in Information Technology we are committed to delivering it - for our clients and colleagues around the world.ADP Labs.Located in Porto Alegre/Brazil, provides software development and infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large scale initiatives across multiple geographies, including Brazil, United States and India.As an internationally distributed software development team, we are hiring: Sr Quality Assurance Analyst The Quality Assurance group performs a variety of management, analysis, testing and debugging functions.Quality Assurance associates at every level are engaged in application software testing activities designed to certify that developed software meets the stated requirements and is free of defects prior to implementation into a production environment.To achieve this goal, a wide range of industry standard skill sets, processes, and testing techniques are utilized.Software is typically certified for functionality, performance, usability, and conformance with organization's technical standards depending on the charter of the group performing the testing.Responsibilities may include test case/script design, test systems/subsystem definition, test automation development (design, coding, testing), test case development, test execution, and test metric definitions.Performs functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks and carrying out rework and quality assurance procedures related to production or operations.Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes.Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures for quality assurance and control.Works with engineers in conducting experiments.This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience.Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.Works independently, receives minimal guidance.Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.Requirements : Education: Desired BA/BS degree -- or equivalent in education and experience.Experience: Desired a strong experience in equivalent or similar area.Fuctional Knowledge: Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.Business Expertise: Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competitions and the factors that differentiate them in the market.Leadership: Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.Problem Solving: Be able to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.Interpersonal Skills: Communication - Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
