Technical Account Manager RoleAbout the positionThe Technical Account Manager plays a crucial role in delivering strategic services and support to clients, ensuring their success and maximizing the value of solutions.Clients come in various shapes and sizes, spanning multiple software platforms and each has its own unique story and internal processes.The Technical Account Manager will be working cross-functionally to assist merchants in scaling up technical aspects of products.Externally, you'll be working with brand-name retailers who are looking to reduce online fraud rates and increase their bottom line by optimizing, improving, and enhancing current Riskified services.Internally, you'll collaborate daily with various departments including Product, Account Management, Analytics, Data Science, and Development to ensure all relevant aspects of product life cycles are addressed.The end goal of the Technical Account Manager is to own technical aspects of integration efforts, upsells, and cross-sales to accelerate merchant growth.Serve as the main technical focal point for enterprise merchants.Analyze client requirements and business needs from technical and functional perspectives.Build, monitor, and execute joint project plans with clients.Work closely with Account Management, Sales, and Support teams as a technical subject matter expert.Cross-functional collaboration and project management skills are essential for this role.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with experience working with various stakeholders (PMs and technical resources).Prior experience working with databases and querying languages (e.g. SQL) is required.The successful candidate will have a proven track record of troubleshooting client issues, reading logs, querying DBs, reviewing code, and offering solutions.Key areas to focus include Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting, Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management, and Client Engagement & Business Acumen.Required Skills and QualificationsExcellent communication and project management skillsExperience working with various stakeholders (PMs and technical resources)Prior experience working with databases and querying languages (e.g. SQL)Proven track record of troubleshooting client issues, reading logs, querying DBs, reviewing code, and offering solutionsBenefitsThis role offers opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as the chance to work with a talented team and make a meaningful impact on client success.
