Job Title: Generative AI EngineerAbout us, we're building an AI-powered research platform that makes academic research faster and easier.We serve researchers globally, from PhD students to professionals, helping them find the best sources in minutes.This is a hands-on role with real ownership.You will design and deploy scalable systems, experiment, and ship production code that impacts thousands of researchers worldwide.Create and optimize search pipelines, graph-based retrieval, and agent-based systems.Design and implement APIs and services for serving hundreds of concurrent requests.Architect, implement, and productionize vector databases and embedding-based retrieval systems.Work on GenAI integrations including react agents, graph agents, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration.Set up full-stack search engines from scratch that can handle real-world workloads.You'll have deep expertise in information retrieval, backend systems, and generative AI.We need someone with strong background in semantic search, vector databases, LLM frameworks, agent-based systems, and document retrieval.In this role, you will design infrastructure that serves many requests, set up and host APIs while balancing speed, cost, and reliability.A research-driven mindset with focus on measurable outcomes is required.
