**Why work for Brennan?**We are a national company with a reputation for delivering technical excellence, innovation and high-quality service to the mid-market and have backed up that statement by winning the #1 Managed Service Provider in Australia for the past 10 years in a row.**Brennan IT benefits include**:- A strong culture underpinned by values that are truly lived every day.- Salaries are pegged to the Australian dollar.- Flexible working is part of our DNA - We have adopted a hybrid working model and we encourage working from home and office as it seems ideal.- Proven career progression opportunities, we are passionate about helping our people unlock their potential and grow across different capabilities.- Diversity is a strength, and we love having people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, for example, we have employees from over 30 different countries - that is just one attribute, talk to us about our other diverse people**Full Job Description**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Understand the AP function with experience with Inventory, Cost of Goods Sold and Fixed Assets.- Provide a service focused on the accurate and timely generation of Purchasing data for our hardware/software business using the relevant systems and the handling of queries associated with invoicing.- Provide the monthly reconciliation function of all supplier invoices related to the HSP practice.- Complete regular reporting as required.- Perform a variety of other tasks as they arise relating to Hardware/Software practice.- Work closely with the Finance Team and supervisors to set procedures that ensure error free on time invoice generation.- Follow the key internal controls in place to ensure invoices that are processed are accounted for accurately.**Required Background and Skills**:- Secondary Education completed.- Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a similar role.- High level of attention to detail, mathematical & logical skills.- Demonstrate initiative together with solid verbal & written communication skills.- High level of accounting knowledge and skills.- High level of competency in reconciliations and investigations.- Ability to work independently.- Numerical capability.- Organised and accurate.- Personal Accountability, Ownership and Responsibility.- Team-based approach.- Problem solver.- Ability to work to defined process.- Demonstrate passion - approach all tasks in an enthusiastic way.- Committed to upholding professional standards.- Handle complex and difficult situations with thought and confidence.- Display integrity - sincere in own behaviour and in dealings with others.- Ability to work for long periods with numbers.- Investigative nature/Tenacity.- Commercial understanding - appreciate the financial impact of getting things wrong and the importance of the invoicing function in the business.Seek further opportunities to maximise revenue whilst ensuring everything that does get invoiced, is invoiced.- Coverage during Sydney business hours (9AM - 5PM AEST).
