Accounting Specialist RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage accounting data within our ERP platform.This role plays a key part in supporting finance operations by ensuring clean, consistent, and well-tested financial data across all core modules.The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting, hands-on experience with the ERP platform, and enjoys working in a structured environment.Enter and validate accounting-related data in the ERP platform.Ensure completeness and accuracy of all accounting entries in the ERP platform across AR, AP, GL, and Payroll modules.Conduct regular audits to identify and correct data inconsistencies or configuration issues.Support daily transactional entry, adjustments, and posting of journal entries under supervision.Performance ObjectivesERP Accounting Data ManagementValidate system workflows for AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Payroll.Perform UAT during ERP updates or enhancements.Work closely with the Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to identify and troubleshoot accounting-related system errors or configuration gaps.Testing & System ValidationAssist in testing accounting processes across ERP modules.Help document testing procedures and results for audit and compliance purposes.Month-End & Operational SupportSupport the month-end close process by preparing, verifying, and entering journal entries in the ERP platform.Assist in reconciling General Ledger accounts and running reports to support financial review.Documentation & Internal SupportMaintain accurate documentation of system processes, data input standards, and workflows within the ERP platform.Assist Accounting team members in navigating ERP functionality and resolving data entry issues.Key CompetenciesStrong working knowledge of the ERP platform and accounting module navigation.Understanding of US GAAP accounting principles.Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
