Purchasing Analyst Job Summary">About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team as a Purchasing Analyst.
This role involves overseeing the acquisition of raw materials, consumables, and MRO.About Our Requirements:This position requires a skilled procurement specialist with experience in purchasing processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customs procedures for importing and exporting.The Key Responsibilities:Obtain local and national quotations for productive/unproductive materials, inputs, and services that meet the organization's specificationsDevelop and qualify new suppliers together with other departments involved in the negotiationRegister new suppliersSend purchase orders within the organization's specifications and needsMonitor collection, shipment, and transit time with carriers of purchase orders until they arrive at the factoryKeep purchase orders updated in the ERP system (quantities, payment term, and date of arrival at the company)Prepare the Export documents that are required by the competent bodies for Customs ClearanceMonitor collection, shipment, transit time, and endorsement of documents related to the export processes, with carriers, until they arrive at the customerPrepare, collect signatures, and forward advance payment requests to the Finance DepartmentSupport to the Sales team in the acquisition of waste and management of Export processesDevelopment and evaluation of suppliers, including services and logistics regarding import and export, as well as monitoring of Customs ClearanceSupport to the Quality and HSE team in the Integrated Management System – SGIRelated activities in the Supply Chain area (Sales Forecast, Planning, Receiving, and Shipping)Requirements:Degree in Logistics or related fields (required)Postgraduate degree in Administration or related fields is desirableMinimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing processesMust be located in Manaus (this is an on-site position, 5 days per week)Advanced or fluent English proficiency (must be able to communicate effectively with international stakeholders)Experience with ERP systems requiredExperience and knowledge in the purchasing area, with experience in companies in the industrial hub of ManausUnderstanding of customs procedures for importing and exportingProficiency with Microsoft Office toolsExperience with supplier KPIs (delivery timing, cost savings, negotiation)This is a unique opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic industry.
