In this role, you'll ensure smooth school-wide technology operations, from securing platforms to supporting staff and families.

This role will require 40 hours/week and you will need to be available to overlap hours with the team from 10am - 3pm U.S. EST.
The compensation range will be 20k-30k USD/yearly DOE.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support & Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary IT contact for staff, troubleshooting issues, supporting incident response, and ensuring smooth operations during high-demand periodsIT Strategy & Security: Implement IT security practices by configuring systems, managing access, supporting secure onboarding/offboarding, and supporting compliance with privacy regulationsGoogle Workspace & Zoom Administration: Set up and maintain Google Workspace and Zoom environments, applying secure configurations, managing accounts, and supporting integrations with school systemsTechnology Implementation & Documentation: Assist in evaluating and rolling out new tools, maintain IT documentation and policies, and support data retention, recovery, and process improvementsRequired Skills & QualificationsExperience in IT support (educational environment preferred)Proficiency with Google Admin Console, Zoom, and related toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across platformsOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesPreferred QualificationsCertified Google for Education AdministratorExperience with 1:1 device programs or BYOD environmentsExperience working in a fast-paced, growing organizationEqual Opportunity Statement:Sora Schools is an equal opportunity employer that is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
