We're seeking a Business Compliance Risk Manager to lead and support the loan business with Compliance activities at Snap.
As part of the Snap Risk Management and Compliance organization, this role will report to the Senior Manager of Business Risk & Compliance.
This role is responsible for supporting and guiding first-line business units in their implementation and management of Compliance risk programs and functions.
This role also supports other core Compliance functions to assist in enhancing the Compliance Management System at Snap Finance.
**The Job**:
- Engage as an advisor and liaison with first-line business units and internal control partners
- Support first-line business units and internal control partners on best practices relative to compliance-related risks, control design, root cause analysis, procedural implementation, and other day-to-day matters where compliance risk is a key consideration
- Be a key partner in compliance issue resolution, coordinating with business units on remediation and corrective actions
- Perform risk assessments and drive development and execution of First Line of Defense monitoring activities for high-risk areas
- Provide support for second-line compliance testing
- Support first-line business units in documenting policies and procedures
- Provide compliance-related support and engagement in the education and awareness efforts on the Three Lines of Defense model and roles and responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of operations, policies, procedures, and regulatory issues in assigned and related functions
**You**
- Three plus (3+) years' experience with Compliance programs and the key elements, systems, and activities associated with implementing them
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Legal, audit, accounting, and/or technology experience preferred
- Strong understanding of US consumer financial protection laws, experience in a lending environment a plus
- High level of professionalism, ability to effectively influence and develop relationships across an organization
- Self-motivated, and an ability to move projects across the finish line
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Solution oriented and have a passion for partnering and finding solutions that satisfy legal and regulatory requirements and business needs
- Ability to understand and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- Effectively navigate a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
