We're building an innovative data collection pipeline on AWS, using Go and Typescript.Our focus is quality, innovation, and accessibility.The customer-facing part of the solution is a Typescript and GraphQL based web application deployed on AWS.We use a serverless paradigm, with most code running as AWS's Lambda functions.As a senior backend engineer, you'll be responsible for the quality of our data processing pipeline.You'll create and review processes that affect speed and cost efficiency, ensuring all steps are integrated seamlessly.Main Responsibilities:Ongoing process improvementCollaboration with frontend engineers, CTO, and principle software engineerMeeting aggressive development timelinesRequirements:A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fieldA minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in Backend Software EngineeringExperience using Typescript for Backend DevelopmentBusiness Proficiency in EnglishYou will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, a strong history of delivering high-quality results, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Our culture is built on two major aspects: Quality and Problem Solving.We foster innovation and novel approaches while keeping user needs at front of mind.This role involves contributing to the design and implementation of scalable data processing pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, and driving innovation through experimentation and learning.
