$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
As a Sr.
Product Data Analyst, you'll be directly impacting our results through insights and reports.
You'll be working close to product managers, researchers, and other business stakeholders, helping with prioritization, assessments, and business recommendations.
It will be your responsibility, alongside the Analytics team, to nurture the data-driven culture within the company, making data easier to consume, be it through interactive reports, easy-to-use datasets, documentation, training.

Problems to be solved
Your primary responsibility will be to empower our organization to be more data-driven, with multiple avenues to accomplish that, such as:
Modeling & Analysis: A marketplace is a complex system with various moving parts and often conflicting signals.
This creates opportunities to identify gaps, insights, or optimizations.
The analyses and models may range from simple AB tests to multivariate models on retention or ETA.
You should have advanced experience in SQL and intermediate experience in Python or R.
Reporting: A complex system creates many metrics to track for running the business efficiently.
You will work with teams to understand their needs and help the Analytics team create and maintain a reliable, user-friendly reporting system, primarily using Tableau and Metabase.
Analytics Engineering: Occasionally you will work on the inner layers of our Data Warehouse to provide clean and documented datasets for reports and end users.
Understanding business needs and translating them into our DW is crucial; we use DBT for data transformation, so SQL experience is a must.
Requirements
Experience: 4+ years in data & analytics at data-driven companies
Education: STEM or business background or relevant education that enables you to empower the organization to be more data-driven
Learning Mindset: You take pride in understanding problems deeply, asking the right questions, and approaching problems with structure and logic.
You adapt to the business as needed rather than applying a fixed process blindly.
Team player: You collaborate effectively with others and create an environment where people are excited to work with you, with intellectual honesty and trust
Business focus: You understand how your analysis connects with product, customers, and financials, and can drill down metrics from top to bottom as needed
Bias for action: You balance careful analysis with getting things done, avoiding unnecessary perfectionism or rigid full-solution builds before validating with real use
