We're looking for a Human Resources Policies & Procedures Manager who will lead the development, communication, and upkeep of HR policies and practices across the organization.
In this role, you'll ensure our policies reflect our values, align with employment law, and are applied consistently nationwide—helping us scale with confidence while supporting an engaging workplace culture.

With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.ResponsibilitiesWe're seeking a Human Resources Policies & Procedures Manager to lead the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies across our U.S. locations.
In this role, you'll ensure our practices align with employment laws, reflect our culture and values, and are applied consistently.
You'll partner with HR, legal, and business leaders to keep policies clear, scalable, and accessible while serving as the internal expert on HR compliance and policy administration.What You'll DoCreate, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with both legal requirements and Alera Group's culturePartner cross-functionally to streamline processes and support consistency across the organizationMonitor changes in employment law and guide policy updates to mitigate riskProvide clear training and communication for HR teams, managers, and colleaguesOversee colleague handbook updates and maintain policy and procedure librariesQualificationsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in HR, business, employment law, or related field (required)7+ years of experience in employment law, compliance, or HR policy managementHRCI or SHRM certification (required)Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex compliance topicsDetail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environmentAdditional InformationThis job is fully remote.Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits to our colleagues, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off and much more.Salary range is $100K to 120K per year.We\'re an equal opportunity employer.
