Job Description Hybrid: This position requires you to work on-site 3 times a week (Tue to Thu)We are looking for a Tax Specialist to join our Tax Planning & Consulting team, playing a key role in strategic projects and supporting GM's main business areas within the tax environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of the Brazilian VAT tax reformLead initiatives to optimize tax burden and/or cash flowIdentify tax opportunities and support efficiency projectsPrepare and manage administrative claims related to tax incentives and special regimesAnalyze tax legislation, anticipate and communicate business impactsAct as the interface between GM and third parties that support tax projects (consultancy and law firms)Provide support to the tax litigation team on audits, administrative and judicial proceedingsCollaborate in cross-functional projects.Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in Law or Accounting;Active OAB or CRCProven experience in tax planning, consultingStrong knowledge of indirect taxes and good understanding of direct taxes;In-depth knowledge of the Brazilian VAT tax reform (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS and ISS);Advanced English to communicate with global stakeholdersWhat Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preference Qualifications)Similar roles multinational companies, law offices or Big4 companies;
