Find your future with us.Position: Associate Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer Location: São José dos Campos, Brazil (on-site)ResponsibilitiesWorks on development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system designParticipates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environmentWorks on product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performanceWorks on development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specificationsWorks on documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfiedSupports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements.
Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effortWorks under directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Must have existing rights to work in BrazilMust have a degree in EngineeringMust be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA)Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English languageRelevant experience with structural engineeringPreferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)Relevant experience in structural analysis methods and tools (hand-calculation and finite element analysis)Relevant experience in design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materialsRelevant experience in durability and damage tolerance analysisRelevant experience in compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements (ANAC/FAA)Relevant experience in Fleet Support and Repair's design and substantiationUnderstanding industry best practices in airframe structure and loadpathsRelocationRelocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
