What you will be doing

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general direction and reporting to the Country Human Resources Manager, coordinates all Human Resources related activities in World Courier Brazil with support to Subregional HR Manager and Country HR Manager. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist Subregional HR Manager and Country HR Manager with all HR related programs and processes.

2. Complete all required documentation for various HR related information, such as new hire paperwork, change of status forms, compensation request and HRIS updates, as required.

3. Conduct and coordinate new-hire orientation.

4. Assist and support HR management in preparing for training sessions and meetings.

5. Complete informational reports as required by the Subregional HR Manager and Country HR Manager.

6. Manages associate relations for local associates such as disciplinary issues and terminations.

7. Participate in HR conference calls as scheduled, attends local and regional meetings as required.

8. Provide local administration for various company-wide programs such as service awards, performance management and compensation processes.

9. Responsible for maintaining the personnel files, ensuring all files and documents are in compliance.

10. As directed by Country HR Manager, acts as communication conduit to country and functional areas relative to changes and updates on HR related programs, policies and benefit programs.

11. Maintain and promote positive and professional working relationships with associates and management.

12. Provides assistance and support to Subregional HR Manager and Country HR manager on special projects and programs.

13. Assist and prepare various personnel related records and payroll process for Finance Manager.

14. Coordinate Payroll related information submission to the Payroll provider (new hires, leavers, changes, monthly report).

15. Support and consult associates on the HR related questions, Time tracking questions, conduct the training sessions if required;

16. Prepare monthly employee details reports for the management and finance if required.

What your background should look like 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Diploma program or equivalent in business administration and human resources. 3 year of directly related and progressively responsible experience in human resources, preferably in Payroll, Benefits and staffing function.

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO:

Country HR manager, Brazil

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and desirable in English; Adept at handling sensitive and confidential situations; Strong interpersonal skills; Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and regulations; Experience in payroll processing, data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail; Ability to resolve associate issues quickly and efficiently; Familiarity with Brazil employment laws; Ability to represent a positive and professional image; Computer savvy with strong working knowledge of relevant software Microsoft application, Workday, ADP, Power BI etc
