**About the company**
Our client is an Iconic Australian Fast Moving Consumer Goods organisation that sells through B2B and B2C channels, and who are enjoying considerable growth in the ANZ region at the moment. To help support this growth with best in class inventory processes, they are looking for an experienced inventory planning professional to join their team.
**About the role**
The Inventory Planning Manager is a key position responsible for ensuring that stock availability is maximized for all their key customers. You will be responsible for inventory management planning across DC's, rebalancing of inventory where required and responding to additional stock requests. This role will be working cross functionally with sales, supply chain and operations to develop and execute the inventory strategy across multiple distribution sites, including 3PLs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Overall responsibility for the effective and accurate management and control of inventory levels across multiple business sites (including 3PLs)
- Analyse daily inventory levels across all sites to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
- Drive the development of processes, tools, and analytics to support inventory planning and inventory management activities
- Work within cross functional teams, demanding planning, procurement and operations to understand and improve key metrics such as forecast accuracy, monthly/quarterly financial analysis, inventory utilisation, customer delivery performance (DIFOT)
- Analyse and report on specific stock movements
**Skills & Experience**:
- Degree qualified in business, supply chain or Science (relative field)
- 5+ Years' experience in Inventory Planning, Supply or Demand Planning
- Exposure to IBP or S&OP processes
- Experience in maximising Inventory management
- Good communication skills and high attention to detail
- Prior experience in a similar planning role, ideally in the FMCG or Retail sectors
- Adaptability and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
