Our mission is to stay ahead of bad actors and safeguard the digital world. About the Team We’re building a high‑growth Latin America sales team in Brazil. This remote role prefers candidates based in São Paulo and requires face‑to‑face interaction with customers and prospects. Role & Responsibilities Actively engage prospective new customers both face‑to‑face and remotely to introduce Proofpoint products and our value proposition. Consistently research and proactively prospect within the assigned territory to identify potential new Proofpoint customers. Actively manage any existing customers within the territory to maintain and grow their Proofpoint investment. Drive the entire sales process from prospecting, opportunity identification, introductory meetings, product demonstration, customer Q&A, to negotiation and closing. Team up with our rapidly expanding channel partner network to drive both net‑new and incremental revenue. Interact with the management team in 1‑1 meetings, team meetings, and via forecasting and reporting to provide critical updates and strategic account planning. Fulfill internal obligations such as training and exams to ensure success in the field. May require modified work hours to cover accounts in other time zones and occasional travel. Requirements Fluent in English and Brazilian Portuguese. 15+ years of experience selling cybersecurity solutions in the Brazil market is strongly preferred. Relationships with senior cybersecurity executives (e.g., CISOs) will be viewed favorably. Strong grasp of value‑selling methodology for selling a premium product. Experience selling through channel partners. Track record of sustained, over‑achieving success in a sales role. Experience managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through negotiation and closing. Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and organizational skills. Great attitude and a team player who shares a recipe for success. Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
