The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate supports end users, manages endpoints, automates identity and access management, and administers cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate has demonstrated prior success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments and is passionate about automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code. You will participate in the design, implementation and management of Ledn’s growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You should be adaptable, a strong communicator, and excited to grow IT skills in a fast-moving, execution-oriented team. What You’ll Do You will be customer-facing and serve as the first line of support, owning the support experience for employees via tools such as Slack and Jira. You’ll work in a Mac environment, troubleshooting, using the terminal, and ensuring macOS works in the enterprise. Responsibilities include procuring and delivering technology equipment, owning the tech onboarding process for new employees, and the tech retrieval process for departing employees. You’ll design, test, build, and document programs, policies, and tools, and contribute improvements to existing knowledge bases. You’ll support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.) and manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM, EMM, Jamf). You’ll own and contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta), document solutions, craft help articles, and automate repetitive tasks. You’ll manage, respond to, and resolve critical incidents as needed, and balance help desk tickets while prioritizing tasks. You’ll work on projects over sprints, detailing work in Jira and practicing agile methods. You’ll set and pursue your own objectives and key results aligned with team and company goals. You will report to the Director of IT. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, NetSuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc. Ability to utilize open source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta; experience with APIs and system integrations. Experience providing remote support across multiple countries/time zones; familiarity with hardware shipping/receiving and customs. Excellent communication across all media; clear ideas and calm under pressure; strong writing skills for tickets, email, and Slack. Clear, friendly, concise writing; sensitivity to different cultures; a proactive, customer-focused mindset. Security awareness, including understanding of PGP; basic networking fundamentals and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, OSI model). Ability to self-manage, scope projects, and coordinate across multiple teams. Nice to Have: Familiarity with AWS; experience with GAM and command-line tools; Jamf/Okta/Google Workspace certifications; startup/remote environment experience.
