Job title: Sports Risk & Trading Executive

Location: São Paulo

Overview of the role:

We have an exciting role in our International Risk team, for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and enjoys building strong relationships. You'll be reporting into the Team Lead for Overnight Risk (Dublin based), in a team of 6 people (and a wider team of 20) who share a passion for sports and understanding our customers behaviour.

You'll be working on overnight real time risk management of customers bets, accounts and live events with particular focus on Brazilian customers and markets in this time zone.

A hybrid approach to working from home is an option at Flutter International as we understand everyone's circumstances & needs are different.

What you'll do:

• Real Time Risk – React to customer bets in a timely and efficient fashion in line with set risk practices
• Settlement Queries – Taking care of settlement queries arising from inhouse data reports and customers. Also settling special markets built by International Trading Team
• Internal Relationships – Liaise with other trading and risk teams in the group to ensure the best-in-class betting product through pricing efficiency and high-class site content
• Trading Support – Assisting other areas of the business when required including the International Trading team, operations, content and sports trading teams.
• Reak time Actions to Customer Risk Settings – Stake Factoring, Customer Segmentation and In Play Delay risk management
• Risk Assessment – Risk assessing customers based on bio information, betting patterns and historical trends and data
• Error & Liability Management – Using the trading and risk tools to identify potential errors, and manage liability growth on the sportsbook

What you'll bring:

• Deep interest in betting and gaming, with some knowledge of customer risk
• Flexibility to work late evenings/weekends as this is a shift-based position, which ties in with the Dublin/Malta based overnight team
• Willingness to learn and follow existing set procedures but also bring a curiosity to asking questions and suggest improvements to ways of working and tooling used
• Ability to identify patterns and quickly react to ever-changing situations in real time. Extracting information and collating data from a variety of different sources, so a keen eye for detail and strong numerate skills would be advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills as well as proficiency in English
