Application Development Lead

Overview Description ActioNet is hiring an Application Development Lead who manages the full software development lifecycle for agency applications, ensuring compliance with SDLC standards and agency requirements. This role leads a team of developers in delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies. The Application Development Lead oversees CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and integration with the agency’s Kubernetes-based environment. Responsibilities Lead design, development, and maintenance of applications. Manage SDLC documentation and code reviews. Oversee CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps integration. Coordinate with stakeholders on requirements and delivery schedules. Ensure application security, performance, and maintainability. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field. 8+ years of full-stack development experience. Proficiency in Angular, Node.js, MongoDB, GitLab, and OpenShift. Experience with Agile and DevSecOps practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience with agency or federal application environments. Certifications in secure software development or cloud platforms.
