Responsibilities- Develop and lead a team of Regional Sales Managers to achieve revenue targets in Latin America & Canada, selling a premium product line in a complex selling environment.
- Oversee and manage key performance metrics, including funnel management, value selling, and long-range planning.
- Operate in a matrixed organization and provide strategic leadership across functions in Latin America & Canada to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead commercial activities to meet region revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Create and execute actionable sales strategies based on data analytics and market insights for the commercial teams.
- Understand and leverage market dynamics for sales in hospitals, labs, and health systems; drive physician demand and adoption of new diagnostic methods.
- Negotiate contracts from single hospitals to health systems.
- Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience; Master's/Doctoral degree with 12+ years of experience.
- 6+ years of experience managing people.
- Expertise selling premium products.
- Strong track record of success in both capital equipment and reagent sales.
- Experience using a CRM application (e.g., Salesforce.com).
- Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
- Experience working in Brazil and across Latin America.
- Ability to travel 40% of the time.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
