In the country, the group controls 18 wind and hydroelectric power generation assets, with about 450 MW of installed capacity and 519 MW under construction. The company aims also to become one of the main players in Trading and Origination.Statkraft Brazil is becoming a large player within commercial business and building and managing renewable assets. The Risk team is located in Rio de Janeiro.Our goal is to prioritize long-term relationships with customers, seeking customized solutions to their energy needs, and facilitating renewable energy and project financing. We are continuously looking to expand to new products and seeking to grow our business.**The role**- Control and report the financial performance of the business represented by the Profi t/Loss (P/L) metric, through spreadsheet/system analysis, ensuring that all input data (data from energy purchase and sale contracts, inflation curve, future dollar curve, and interest rates) are correctly captured and updated;- Control and report risk metrics, such as Value at Risk (VaR) and Profi t at Risk (PaR), using the existing internal models;- Control and report on the utilization of the risk capital allocated to the business unit through reporting, ensuring that the total amounts of market and credit risk are within the mandate;- Support the front offi ce in measuring the impact of new business on risk metrics, simulating and calculating the impact on Value at Risk (VaR), Profi t at Risk (PaR) and credit risk of new business.***Your **competence **profile**We are looking for a risk analyst with the essential skills to prepare our renewable energy business and solutions for the future. This includes the following background:- Credit risk analysis;- Legal and regulatory knowledge about the Brazilian electricity sector;- Advanced analysis of Financial Statements;- Financial Products and Valuation;- Advanced Excel;- Advanced Probability and Statistics;- Python will be considered a plus.**Does it look interesting?
