**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**
**CIM Solution Incubation** is a new unit at Customer Innovation & Maintenance (CIM) with an innovative, dynamic and collaborative development environment, developing **strategic frontrunner solutions** in conjunction with **customers** & **product units**.
At **Intelligent Agriculture Team**, we are building a new solution that combines **cloud native** and **data-driven decision **to enable agribusinesses to sustainably increase farming efficiency by digitizing their farming processes and services from plan-to-harvest. We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering Lead to run a talented team of Cloud Experts. Someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. **EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
Lead teams based on three main pillars: people, business and strategy.
**People**
- Guide people's career, offering support to professional development of team members.
- Act as a coach/mentor and provide direct individual feedback focused on recognition of achievement and opportunities for growth.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment, in which team members feel comfortable openly sharing their thoughts.
- Set clear goals with team members, inspire and support them towards accomplishing the goals, and evaluate goal achievement in a fair and understandable way.

**Business**
- Work within a global team on international product development projects.
- Responsible for your team's end to end delivery of features from the solution definition phase to deployment to customers.
- Work close to Technical Product Management and Program Management to align product strategy and prioritize development work in line with business needs.
- Compliance with global security and technical mandates and standards.
- Delivery against commitments of technical and functional product roadmap items.
- Monitor execution of plan and pro-actively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Iteratively refining processes based on feedback from team.
**Strategy**
- Build high performing teams by attracting, hiring and retaining top talent.
- Define strategies around third party's engagement.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively participate in leadership team alignments to improve overall team processes, support peer managers, and transparently cascade relevant information to your team.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end solutions from design through delivery.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with technical product managers, architects, and technical teams across different product areas and locations.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve excellent results.
- Leadership skills, along with innovation and agile mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Conceptual and structured work style with a strong prioritization of skills and attention to detail, outstanding facilitation and organization skills.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
