About the Role Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Account Manager will be a member of the high-growth Latam Commercial team within S&P Global’s Market Intelligence division. Responsibilities & Impact The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage global, multi-stakeholder relationships with a wide range of companies that lead, innovate, and disrupt their respective industries. One day you may be collaborating with an emerging Technology startup that is mapping a growth strategy. The next day you may support a global Fortune 500 Corporation in their sustainability reporting journey. As an Account Manager, you are a critical part of our team’s growth. You will be responsible for nurturing and expanding existing relationships while driving revenue for SaaS products, data feeds, and sustainability reporting services. This role has a direct impact on future growth. Our team delivers S&P’s desktop, software, technology, and reporting services to Corporations (FI and Non FI), Tech companies, and Professional Service firms. In other words, you will manage a variety of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and success while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling. Collaborate closely with Sales Executives to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives of these organizations. Develop and execute account strategies and commercial campaigns to enhance client engagement. Stay current with industry news and issues to facilitate credible and meaningful conversations with clients. Coordinate and lead product demonstrations tailored to client needs. Work alongside the sales team to negotiate contract renewals, terms, and pricing adjustments. Oversee the contract execution process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients. Engage in strategic planning for key accounts in conjunction with Sales Executives to align on goals and objectives. What We Are Looking For Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree At least 4 years experience in a sales or entrepreneurial role Goal orientated and competitive with an ability to work towards revenue targets within a business development environment Interest in understanding a client’s business, how their specific role fits within the organization and consultatively suggesting solutions that solve for their business issues Experience in dealing with challenging situations, i.e. objection handling, overcoming internal obstacles, etc. Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are required, and any knowledge of CRM databases (such as Salesforce.com) Strong interpersonal communication skills, able to think on your feet and confidence in public speaking Fluent English is also a must and Intermediate Spanish *Please submit your CV in English as the hiring process will be in English About S&P Global Market Intelligence At S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
